active directory attribute losing its value

Another day, another problem

Running newly upgraded vCO 5.5.1 and I'm having a problem with the AD plugin.

I have an OU defined as a attribute and I have already selected the OU so the value is hard-coded in my workflow basically.

I've noticed that when I edit the workflow, the attribute seems to lose it's value and turns red and it says "not set". It doesn't happen all the time and I'm still trying to figure out how to reproduce it reliably but so far I've noticed it happen after I click edit on the workflow, cancel, then go back and look but not every time. This never happened under 5.1.1.

I can try and work around the problem by scripting the selection of the OU (not quite sure how at the moment) but if I lose the value in the workflow attribute and don't notice, the whole workflow fails because it will no longer validate.

Anyone seen this behavior before with an AD:OrganizationalUnit as a preset attribute not keeping its value?

Thanks
