VCO DNS workflow

Afternoon,

New to VCO and trying to develop a DNS registration workflow that will integrate into VCAC. Trying to find documentation and the right path for creating a workflow that will create a DNS record on a MS DNS server. Any pointers or if i am reinventing the wheel please shoot me in the right direction.
