I'm having a little trouble figuring out how to do error handling. Basically all my red arrows are pointing to a script which simply sends me an email. In each step, if I run into something I can't handle, I do:
throw "my error text"
and then i email that to myself. Each step in my workflow is bound to a string variable which gets that thrown value.
I had a failure today and realized this may not work as the workflow still shows it ended in success (since it successfully send me the failure email) and it's not that easy to see what ended in error. If the error happens on a built-in workflow, i can't "throw" myself a note saying where it failed, all I can do it bind the workflow to my error variable (unless I clone each workflow/sub-sub workflow to modify them which I would like to avoid)
Does anyone have suggestions how how I can email myself when an error occurs but still have the workflow end in failure?
