Change in Network labels from 4.1 to 5.1?

There's seems to be a difference between how VCO 4.1 and 5.1 report network labels. In 4.1, querying VC would report the PG label only, i.e. 'Prod_Vlan_28_10.131.28_0'; in 5.1 it appends the VDS onto , i.e. 'Prod_Vlan_28_10.131.28_0 (Guest_Network_1)'

This change has broken some of the custom scripts we had created-is there some way to simply have it report the PG and not the VDS together? Thanks.
