Do I really need to move away from Lab Manager?

I have read a lot on the forums and am wondering if I really need to move away from Lab Manager to the next version.  As a small business this is a great application that has and continues to serve us well.  I am wondering if, aside from not being able to expand it, or support future operating systems (Windows 8, etc.), is there a reason to move?

I have not looked into vCloud Director, but assume it will cost a lot for our 10 person business to support the work we do today, with many virtual multi-machine configurations running all the time (not being used, but running).  We essentially have a single Dell R610 server with 2 quad core cpus and 96 GB of RAM hosting all of our VMs, and vCenter server as a VM on another R610 server.  Pretty basic setup that has done us well.  We are not current on our software maintenance, so would have to start over with vClound Director in many ways it seems.

We have a mix of windows, linux and solaris vms.

I have looked into Skytap which seems interesting, but also seems a bit pricey as we have a tendency to just let virtual machines run all the time.

Curious what other opinions are out there as Lab Manager does everything we want except have some issues with the latest web browsers.
