When modifying hardware on a VM in VLM configuration, it appears that the boot order then gets changed. For example, if I delete the NIC on a VM and replace it with another NIC, or add a hard drive to a VM, the next time the VM boots it attempts to PXE boot and fails to find the OS. I have to go into the BIOS, reset the boot order to move the boot device (typically SCSI 0:0) to the top of the list. Is this expected behavior? Anybody have a workaround for this behavior?
Thanks,
Matt
