vSphere faults processing

Hello.

What would be a best way for a workflow to process vSphere faults?

I have a need to identify the specific reason for blocking or non-blocking task failure.

Exception message usually only contains the string "Internal error" and then possibly error message text (which can't be trusted source for reason identification).

So I don't see any other way to do that except by examining the type of generated vSphere fault, but (how) can this be done from within a workflow?

The fault object itself is available from TaskInfo, but how to extract this object's type?

Thank you.

PS. Or maybe there's another way to do what I need?

PS2. I need the approach to be generic and valid for all cases not only to specific ones.
