We are using vCO 5.5.2 along with vCAC 6.1. We have created an action item which basically clones a vCAC VM. Once this is done, we need to send a mail to the Admin to import the cloned VM to vCAC. As you can see that, when you manually import a VM to vCAC, you will have to know certain details like Business Group, Blueprint and Reservation to which the cloned VM should be tagged to.
We are trying to retrieve these above details from the source VM, but no luck. There is a package "com.vmware.vcac.asd" that has been imported to vCO. This package has a workflow
"Map to VC:VM" (this workflow is not a part of the actual Clone VM workflow) which will basically run when you request for a Clone action from vCAC . The above mentioned details like Business Group, Reservation and Blueprint name are obtained in this "Map to VC:VM" workflow in the "vmProperties" variable. We are not succesful in getting these details. It will be of great help if anybody can throw some light on how to get these details.
