Dynamically choosing vSphere objects based on user input

I currently have a wrapper workflow that will automate the deployment of a vCD vOrg, OrgVDC, Org Admin, and even go as far as creating a dvSwitch Port Group in one go. The idea is to standardize our deployments and set default values. Currently, various required attributes (vCloud:VmwNetworkPool, VC:VmwareDistributedVirtualSwitch, etc.) are hard coded to match the vSphere/vCloud Director instance registered with vCO. I'd like to take this workflow to other datacenters, or attempt to get the vCO Multi-Node plugin working and prompt the user for a location (STL, ORD, etc) and have those hard coded values change to match the appropriate datacenter.

I would assume this would be done via a Scriptable task (probably with a switch/case statement) - but I'm pretty lost on how to set the attributes to the actual vSphere/vCD objects. Any ideas?
